Posted by Jonathan, from Lynchburg on Feb 22, 2022 The Omni properties are normally great I think that the health department locally should be looking at this hotel because, save for the water issue, it’s a beautiful property but that makes it completely unacceptable We spent nearly $100 just a Park never mind the amount we paid so that we could actually shower and brush our teeth. When we got up to leave when we had the running brown water I videoed it and showed it to the front desk and told them the water was filthy and that we didn’t dare use it to make coffee or shower or brush our teeth or anything else and they told me they’d give me $50 off our stay. I know when I reported it to the front desk they didn’t seem too upset at all or surprised that we didn’t have hot water. After the first morning I thought it was a fluke but when I googled Omni Charlotte hot water it seems like they have this problem frequently. The morning we got up to leave the water look like mud coming out of the faucet so we couldn’t use it to shower brush our teeth or anything else. We reported it to the front desk and they told us we should probably go to the steam room in the gym. The first morning we got up there was no hot water to shower with. We spent a total of two nights there to attend a concert in downtown Charlotte.
